As Indian fashion is often inspired by Bollywood hits, the House of BIBA decided to venture into movie merchandising and teamed up with renowned production houses. Launched in 2002, BIBA Movie Line won exclusive merchandising rights for Bollywood super hits like Devdas, Baghban, Na Tum Jano Na Hum, Waqt, Hulchul, Hero, 7½ Phere and The Perfect Husband. The outfits, however, are not mere replicas but artistic recreations by the original designers – so that the beauty and the intricacy of each piece can be retained. BIBA continues its foray into new media territories and is poised to introduce more exclusive merchandise to be featured under prestigious production banners.
